We cannot believe it! La Rúa recently received the Creative Loafing Critic's Choice for “Best Live Band of 2005” (see below); This is a tremendous honor for La Rúa, and we are very thrilled and excited!! Charlotte has many talented bands, and this has come as a wonderful surprise for us!

We would like to thank our families, friends, and fans for their constant support throughout these  past three years. We'd also like to extend a heartfelt “ THANK YOU ” to all the venues that have given us the opportunity to play our music. We'll keep working hard and playing rock en Español for all of you.

La Rúa

A former opening act for break-out Latin rockers Los Lonely Boys, the Charlotte-by-way-of-Ecuador-and-Venezuela quintet La Rúa have started their own Latin Rock festival in Charlotte, opened for Los Amigos Invisibles on their Southeastern tour, and, most importantly, bring the (full) house down every time they take to a stage. Can VH1 and radio play be far behind?
